How RHOBH Star Lisa Rinna Ended Up Alone With Kathy Amid Aspen Meltdown, Plus Kyle Says Kathy Was Mad Things Weren't "Going Her Way" and Questions Her Sisterly Love

why was Lisa Rinna the only Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member who watched Kathy Hilton‘s meltdown in Aspen?

While many have suspected Lisa intentionally secluded Kathy from the rest of the women, potentially in an effort to stage a takedown, Dorit Kemsley and Crystal Kung-Minkoff are setting the record straight, revealing why Lisa was the only person available to Kathy.

“Kathy wanted the whole group to follow her in support of her and leave the club,” Dorit recalled on the September 21 episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

But unfortunately, that isn’t what happened.

“I was like, ‘Let’s get out of here and let’s take Kathy with us. She’s pissed about something, ‘”Crystal shared. “And then I was looking for the guy who was with us who had my coat checked and I couldn’t find my coat.”

According to Dorit, Crystal wasn’t the only cast member who couldn’t access their coat.

“All of us had checked our jackets, all of us with the exception of Lisa. Somehow Lisa managed to get into this club with her jacket. None of us could, but Lisa managed to,” she noted.

Because Lisa had her coat, she joined Kathy in their Sprinter van as they waited for the others.

“Rinna and Kathy were already in the car so she’s texting me, ‘Where are you?’” Crystal explained. “I’m like ‘I cannot find this guy.’ So I said, ‘Just go.’ She’s like, ‘Are you okay?’ I’m like, ‘I’ll see you in the morning.’ So that’s what happened.”

Also, on the RHOBH: After Show, Kyle Richards said that when it came to Kathy’s demeanor during their night out, she wasn’t in the best mood to begin with.

“I think she was just not in a good mood to begin with, and things weren’t really going her way,” Kyle shared.

And after Kathy allegedly threatened to destroy her and her family, if it’s “the last thing” she does, amid her meltdown, Kyle admitted to feeling hurt and even questioned her sister’s love.

“It’s tricky when it’s family because even though you’re sisters and you get mad, and you say things, it just, it’s hurtful,” she noted. “It’s like, ‘You’re my big sister. How can you say those things about me if you love me so much?’ Family is complicated, and family on television is really complicated.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
