A 25-year-old man is on life support with serious brain injuries after he was bashed in Sydney’s CBD earlier this week.
A police hunt is underway for six men linked to a violent bashing in Sydney’s CBD earlier this week.
Officers were called to the corner of George and Liverpool streets at around 2.10 am on Monday, following reports a 25-year-old man had been assaulted.
CCTV footage shows the group of men flee the scene in a blue Holden Commodore, heading north on Kent Street.
Police allege the victim became involved in an argument with the group before he was violently assaulted.

The 25-year-old was hit to St Vincent’s Hospital, suffering a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.
He remains in a critical condition.
Detectives have formed taskforce Stockdale to help track down the group who left the man fighting for his life.
The men are all described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance and range from being 170cm and 185cm tall.
Each man was wearing either sportswear or a puffer-jacket, with one man dressed in a pair of thongs.
Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
